Business to Business Networking Group (B2B) Terms of Service Agreement
1. Agreement to Terms
By completing this agreement and participating in B2B Networking Group (“B2B”), you agree to adhere to the following terms and conditions. Membership is subject to compliance with this agreement and the policies outlined in the B2B Member Handbook. B2B reserves the right to modify these terms as needed and will notify members of any significant changes.
2. Membership Participation & Engagement
a. Commercial Presentations & Referrals
Members agree to:
• Present a minimum of two (2) 30-second commercials per week.
• Deliver a minimum of four (4) 10-minute business presentations annually.
• Provide business cards for distribution among members and the business card box.
• Actively generate quality referrals for fellow members.
b. Attendance Policy
• Our group values active participation to foster strong business connections. To maintain membership in good standing, members are allowed up to 12 absences per calendar year, prorated based on the month they join.
Members may send a substitute (“agent”) to attend in their place. While members are encouraged to have an agent anytime they are absent, they must have an agent attend at least three (3) times if they are unable to be present themselves.
This policy ensures consistent engagement and supports the success of all members in the group.
• Failure to meet these attendance requirements will result in membership termination following the 13th absence.
Additionally, a member who misses 3 consecutive meetings without communication to the Executive team or Regional support will require an attendance review and may be terminated.
3. Compliance & Conduct Expectations
a. Business Representation & Ethical Practices
• Members may only promote the business listed in their membership agreement during weekly programs.
• Members must refrain from discussing or promoting any other businesses they are associated with during captive meeting time.
• Discussions of politics and religion are not permitted during B2B meetings to maintain a professional and inclusive environment.
• Participation in additional non-compete or exclusive referral groups that operate similarly to B2B is prohibited.
• Members must adhere to ethical business practices and maintain professionalism within the group.
b. Use of B2B Materials & Confidentiality
• Members may not share or use B2B proprietary materials, methods, or program content with non-members for purposes other than B2B business.
• Any misuse of B2B intellectual property will result in disciplinary action, including possible termination of membership.
4. Fees, Late Payments, & Membership Transfers
a. Payment & Late Fees
• All membership fees are non-refundable.
• A $10 late fee will be added to any membership payment not received by the due date.
• Members whose membership lapses will be required to submit a $25 administration fee in addition to any outstanding balances to reinstate their membership.
b. Membership Transfers
• A one-time membership transfer may be permitted upon approval by the B2B Executive Team and a B2B Representative.
• The transferring member must be in good standing with current fees, and the incoming member must:
• Qualify under an open membership category.
Assume the current members remaining attendance allotment and fees.
• Not be in competition with an existing member.
5. Membership Termination & Revocation
Completion of this agreement does not guarantee acceptance into B2B.
• B2B reserves the right to revoke membership at any time if a member’s actions:
• Hinder the group’s ability to exchange and generate quality referrals.
• Negatively impact the group’s dynamics or overall function.
6. Acknowledgment & Acceptance
By completing this agreement and participating in B2B, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to comply with the B2B Terms of Service Agreement and all policies outlined in the B2B Member Handbook.
